The MANUAL is the comprehensive guide to the RSCDS style and dances. Updated in 2005 from the first edition originally published in 1992, it covers all publications up to Book 45, and includes all the new formations and developments. A 'must have' for any enthusiast as well as the serious student, and essential for preparation for the Society's various qualifications.
The purposes of the Manual are:-
* to provide an accurate, factual and helpful source of reference for anyone interested in Scottish country dancing and the work of the RSCDS.
*to provide a degree of standardisation for the practical performance of the steps, formations and dances found in the Society's publications.
*to provide advice to teachers, musicians, dancers and others involved in promoting the aims and objects of the RSCDS
